THE WINE TEMPLE, The Quiet Art of Wine Rituals
Welcome to The Wine Temple
"An immersive sensory wine experience inspired by Mythology, Art and the ancient Culture of Wine".
Humans have transformed the things we value most into rituals and wine is one of them.
Behind every bottle there is time, patience...and nature itself.
The vineyard lives at the mercy of rain, frost, sun and the changing seasons. Long before wine reaches the glass, it has already survived an extraordinary journey
At Ontañón Familia we honour that journey through The Quiet Art of Wine Rituals.
Your rituals begins with two white wines crafted from Tempranillo Blanco, a unique variety discovered in La Rioja in the 1980s.
You will then explore three expressive red wines, including Mi Lugar, our Vino de Municipio, followed by our iconic Reserva 2019 and an old vintage Reserva 2011.
The wines are paired with a selection of local Riojan Tapas.
After the wine ritual tasting, we will guide you through the cellar, barrels and winemaking spaces of Ontañón Familia, where Wine, Mythology and Art become part of the same story.
