The red varieties at Ontañón are cultivated with meticulous care across various terroirs of Rioja Oriental, in family-owned vineyards of distinct character. Today we farm at elevation Tempranillo, which stands out for its silky texture and elegance; Garnacha, a cornerstone of the wonderful red-fruit-driven sensations that define our wines; and Graciano, a truly distinctive Rioja variety prized for its piercing acidity and the profound aromatic depth and lasting imprint it leaves on the palate.
